Imran Khan Receives 10-Year Prison Sentence in Cipher Case

The ex-captain of the Pakistani Cricket Team and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, was sentenced to ten years in prison in the Cipher Case. This decision comes after he had initially been jailed in August 2023 for three years on corruption charges, but the sentence was later overturned. Subsequently, he was detained on a more serious accusation of leaking classified state documents. In this recent development, Imran Khan, along with Shah Mehmood Qureshi, has been handed a ten-year prison term, as reported by Pakistani media.
