An IndiGo flight destined for Mumbai had to make an emergency landing back in Delhi on February 9th due to reports of a foul smell onboard. Flight number 6E 449 returned to the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) shortly after takeoff following complaints from passengers about the unpleasant odor. IndiGo released a statement explaining that the pilot detected a momentary foul smell and, as a precautionary measure, followed standard procedures by returning to the capital city.
