A video of a Virat Kohli fan from Pakistan has gained widespread attention on social media. In the video, the fan can be seen expressing her preference for India’s star batsman Kohli over Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam. She enthusiastically declared, “Virat Kohli is my favorite player.” When asked about her loyalties, she replied, “I am also supporting Pakistan.” She further displayed her support for both countries by showcasing their flags on her cheeks, saying, “This is Pakistan, this is India.”
In the video, the girl remarked, “Loving the neighbors is not a bad thing, right?”
The India vs. Pakistan match in Pallekele on Saturday had to be called off due to rain. Pakistan was unable to begin their chase as persistent rain ultimately led to the abandonment of the match, resulting in both teams sharing points.
Previously, India was bowled out for 266 runs, with Shaheen Afridi taking four crucial wickets. Despite half-centuries from Hardik Pandya (87) and Ishan Kishan (82), the left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi kept the Indian team at bay.
India found themselves at 66 for 4 at one point, but a remarkable 138-run partnership between Hardik and Kishan brought them back into the game. However, Pakistan made a strong comeback later in the match. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf each took three wickets, denting India’s progress towards the end of the innings. India’s captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and selected to bat first.
