The Bombay High Court is set to undergo a name change to become the ‘Mumbai High Court.’ The Ministry of Law has revealed that the governments of Maharashtra and Goa, in collaboration with the Bombay High Court, have agreed to the proposal. This change will affect all three Bombay High Courts. However, the proposal to rename the Madras High Court to the ‘Tamil Nadu High Court’ did not receive approval from the High Court.
