During the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Malda, West Bengal, a car carrying Rahul Gandhi was reportedly attacked with stones by unidentified individuals on Wednesday. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the state party chief, claimed that the rear window pane of the vehicle was shattered in the incident, but Gandhi escaped unharmed.
However, the Congress party later refuted these claims, stating it was “incorrect news.” According to their clarification, a large crowd had gathered to meet Rahul Gandhi in Malda. In the midst of the crowd, a woman suddenly approached the front of Rahul ji’s car to meet him, prompting an abrupt application of brakes. The glass of the car supposedly broke due to the security circle’s rope. The Congress emphasized that Rahul Gandhi, as a leader, is fighting for justice against the injustices faced by the people, and the public supports him, ensuring his safety.
