In a Reddit-shared video featuring a brief interview with Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol, Ranbir expressed his apprehension about tackling the aggressive and intense scenes in Animal. Ranbir Kapoor shared that “Alia Bhatt and I discuss each other’s work extensively. I have immense respect for her as an artist and value her perspective. Before shooting each scene or each day, I would discuss it with her, and she has helped me with numerous scenes, especially those where I had concerns as an actor, wondering if it sounded too extreme.”
Ranbir went on to explain that Animal represents a departure from his previous roles, pushing the boundaries of his character. He added, “I’ve never stretched myself so much in a role. I’ve always tried to portray goodness on screen. Alia served as my barometer, reassuring me that it’s okay. It’s a character with depth and purpose. She has been a strong support for this film.”
