Salman Khan’s Mumbai Home Targeted by Lawrence Bishnoi Gang: Sources

Sources indicate that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang fired shots at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The individuals captured on CCTV are believed to be from Gurugram, Haryana, associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. One of them, Vishal, has ties to gang member Rohit Godara, known for violent crimes, and is wanted for the murder of Sachin Munjal in March.

CCTV footage shows both suspects wearing caps and carrying backpacks, firing towards Khan’s residence. One suspect wore a white t-shirt and black jacket with denim pants, while the other wore a red t-shirt and denim pants.

Before the attack, the suspects conducted reconnaissance near Galaxy Apartments, Khan’s residence. They abandoned their motorcycle near Mount Mary Church in Bandra and escaped by rickshaw to Bandra railway station, leaving the city afterward. Their motorcycle was found over a kilometer from Khan’s home.

Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, claimed responsibility for the incident online, calling it a “preview” and issuing a warning to Khan.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured Khan of support and commitment to the rule of law.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) revealed that Khan topped a hit list created by Lawrence Bishnoi due to the 1998 black buck hunting incident, which offended the Bishnoi community.

Bishnoi disclosed that his associate, Sampat Nehra, surveilled Khan’s Bandra residence for a potential hit but was arrested by the Haryana Police Special Task Force.

Mumbai Police upgraded Khan’s security status to Y+ following a threat call on April 11 last year. An Indian student in the UK was issued a lookout circular for allegedly sending a threatening email to Khan.
