Responding to these misleading reports, Vineeta clarified on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) and shared screenshots of the false information. For over a month, untrue claims of her death and arrest have been circulating on social media, despite her efforts to report and address the issue with platforms like Meta and the Cyber Police in Mumbai. Vineeta expressed concern over the distress caused to her family and requested suggestions to combat this misinformation. Reports claiming her arrest and edited images depicting her in a serious road accident are among the false narratives circulating.
