In order to address the unmet needs of the Rajasthani people, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has started the Sarvajan Hitaya – Sarvajan Sukhaya Sankalp Yatra. The yatra, which kicked off in response to a call from Mayawati, the national president of the BSP, aims to cement its imprint in the state.
On Monday, the Sankalp Yatra traveled through Tijara and Alimpur Sanchor to reach Bansur. Shri Akash Anand, the BSP’s national coordinator, was warmly welcomed by thousands of his supporters. A Nukkad Sabha was held in Kishangarh Bass, where Mr. Anand emphasized the BSP’s and Babasaheb Ambedkar’s vision of equal rights among the crowds of supporters.
Mr. Akash Anand spoke to the crowd and emphasized the importance of a society that values equality and respects Babasaheb’s dreams. According to him, “BSP is committed to eradicating discrimination against children in schools. This is the equal rights-enforcing India of Babasaheb’s dreams. “.
Mr. Anand also spoke about the way the current Congress administration has been neglecting the Bahujan Samaj and the underprivileged community. He criticized the lack of security and basic services offered by the government, especially for women. “Over the past five years, more than 1 lakh cases of atrocities against women have been reported. A government like that cannot legitimately rule if it cannot guarantee the security of its daughters, he said.
BSP leader Shri Ashok Siddharth emphasized the importance of the party as a force for societal change. He said, “Bahujan Samaj Party is not just a political party; it is a sacred movement led by visionaries working to promote social, economic, political, and educational awareness. He also emphasized the necessity of uplifting marginalized groups and expressed dissatisfaction with the Congress Party’s lack of effective policies.
Akash Anand, the national coordinator for the BSP, is directing the Sankalp Yatra, which covers about 150 Rajasthani assembly districts. Senior BSP leaders are interacting with the general public during the yatra to discuss issues of discrimination and atrocities committed against Muslims, Dalits, and OBCs.
