New Delhi, 19 August 2025:

Renowned sustainability advocate and green innovator Anand Chordia, Founder, The Eco Factory Foundation (TEFF) and Director, Technology & Innovation at Suhana Spices, was felicitated with the prestigious ‘Decarbonization Excellence Award’ at the ISHRAE CoOL Conclave 2025, India’s largest carbon-neutral platform dedicated to decarbonization and sustainable transformation in the HVAC&R sector.

The 2.5-day conclave, hosted by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air-Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), last fortnight was held at Sheraton Grand Palace, Indore, bringing together top industry leaders, architects, developers, policy experts, and innovators to drive collaborative solutions for a net-zero future.

Chordia received the award in the ‘Individual Contribution to Decarbonization (Legacy)’ Category, from amongst the 150+ nominations received in various categories. The award was presented to him by Hon. Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of Madhya Pradesh, in the presence of Prof Chetan Singh Solanki, known as the ‘Solar Man of India’, and Pankaj Dharker.

“I am truly humbled to receive this honour. It only inspires me to work harder in this direction and continue my efforts towards a cleaner, greener, healthier, sustainable & prosperous India. My vision and passion is to provide sustainable lifestyle solutions to rural and urban communities”, smiles Chordia.

Recognizing a Legacy of Purpose-Driven Innovation
Anand Chordia has been at the forefront of India’s sustainability movement, leveraging science, technology, and grassroots engagement to address critical environmental challenges. Through his brainchild, TEFF, he has introduced powerful models of circular economy, zero-waste ecosystems, rural skill development, regenerative agriculture, and scalable clean-tech adoption.

With TEFF’s impact spanning thousands of farmers, micro-entrepreneurs, and rural communities, Chordia’s work is a compelling blueprint for integrating environmental sustainability with economic empowerment. His efforts align deeply with the goals of the conclave – to catalyze low-carbon transitions in both urban and industrial systems.
