Bigg Boss 19 Faces Legal Trouble Over Music, Farrhana Bhatt Becomes New Captain

Updated At: September 25, 2025 3:52 PM

Bigg Boss 19 heats up as Farrhana Bhatt’s fight with Kunickaa shocks housemates and fans.

Bigg Boss 19 has completed a month on air, and as the days go by, tempers in the house are soaring higher than ever. One of the biggest highlights of the week was the massive clash between Farrhana Bhatt and Kunickaa Sadanand. The fight began when Kunickaa accused Farrhana of being selfish. This remark instantly set Farrhana off, and she shot back by calling Kunickaa crazy, daring her to speak directly to her face instead of behind her back.

Farrhana’s anger only grew as she went further, telling Kunickaa to keep her films aside and not to speak nonsense with her. She added that if Kunickaa wanted to lick Ashnoor Kaur and Abhishek’s feet, she could go ahead. In a shocking warning, Farrhana declared that if she came down to Kunickaa’s level, the actress’s entire family would end up dragged into Weekend Ka Vaar. Her outburst left the house stunned, and social media quickly lit up with criticism of her behavior.

Kunickaa, not backing down, struck back, saying Farrhana has a “potty mouth.” The dispute escalated the tension in the house and left the other contestants shaken and polarized.

Tears Flow in the Captaincy Task

The drama did not end there, as the Captaincy Task in the upcoming episodes turned into another storm. As part of the challenge, Bigg Boss played clips of contestants gossiping about each other. One video showed Mridul talking about Tanya Mittal, and another shocking video showed Baseer, Zeeshan, and Amaal Mallik talking about Awez Darbar’s personal life. Baseer was even heard saying in the video how many girls Awez was carrying around outside.

Awez was hurt by all the personal remarks being made. He was so emotional, he broke down in front of the other contestants. On her re-entry into the house, Nehal immediately comforted him, hugging him and offering support. Fighting back tears, Awez spoke out, saying that in his personal life he had never done the things being alleged. He revealed that for ten years he had not even said yes to Nagma. As he and Nagma prepare for their wedding, he is somewhat astonished at the senselessness of what is being said about him. This feeling brought a thick silence into the house and resonated with the crowd as people threw their support behind him on social media.

Farrhana Bhatt Becomes the New Captain

Even with this emotional fallout, the Captaincy Task moved ahead and ended up causing yet another fight, this time between Ashnoor Kaur and Farrhana Bhatt. After much catfighting, chaos, and turmoil, Farrhana surprised everyone by managing to beat Gaurav Khanna and claiming her position as the new captain of the house.

There will definitely be a shift in houses with this win as contestants decide how to move forward and rethink their strategy and alliances. Additionally, Farrhana’s captaincy will depict her jumping into a new chapter of her Bigg Boss journey and add to her legacy as one of the most controversial and strong players this season.

Legal Trouble Over Unauthorized Music

While all the drama inside the house continues to grab attention, the show’s makers are facing a fresh challenge outside. Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) India has issued a legal notice to the producers of Bigg Boss 19 for using copyrighted songs without permission.

The notice highlights that songs such as “Chikni Chameli” and “Dhat Teri Ki” were played during Episode 11, which aired on September 3, 2025. According to PPL, the production house failed to obtain the required license for public performance of the tracks. For this violation, PPL is demanding ₹2 crore in damages along with the payment of licensing fees.

The notice has been addressed to Endemol Shine India and its directors, including Thomas Gousset, Nicolas Chazarain, and Deepak Dhar. So far, Bigg Boss 19’s producers have not provided an official response to the ongoing legal battle.

A Season Full of Drama and Tension

Between fiery personal clashes, emotional breakdowns, shifting power struggles, and now a looming legal storm, Bigg Boss 19 has quickly become one of the most unpredictable seasons yet. Farrhana’s explosive fight with Kunickaa, Awez Darbar’s tearful breakdown, her surprising captaincy win, and the legal battle over unauthorized music have all added layers of intensity both inside and outside the house.

With alliances shattering, emotions amplified, and pressure on the show’s producers, there appears to be no shortage of shocking moments of drama in episodes ahead.
