Animal Box Office Collection Day 7: Ranbir Kapoor’s Film Achieves Highest First Week Worldwide Earnings, Surpassing Jawan and Pathaan

Ranbir Kapoor continues to capture our hearts, both through his on-screen performances and in real life. There’s a valid reason why he’s referred to as a ‘heartthrob’ and now, he’s being hailed as the ‘box office king’ as well. “Animal,” featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, has presented stiff competition to Vicky Kaushal’s “Sam Bahadur,” delivering power-packed action as Balbir Singh. Despite being labeled as a controversial film, it has been making a resounding impact at the box office, both in India and internationally. Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen presence is truly beyond imagination. His portrayal in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s gangster drama is considered his career-best performance.

In terms of box office figures on the seventh day, i.e., the end of the first week, “Animal” has secured the third-highest first-week worldwide gross after “Jawan” and “Pathaan.” “Jawan” amassed Rs 661 crore in its first week, while “Pathaan” earned Rs 630 crore.

Here’s the day-wise breakdown of “Animal” box office collections in India and worldwide:

  • Day 1: Rs 116 crore worldwide; Rs 64 crore in India
  • Day 2: Rs 236 crore worldwide; Rs 130 crore in India
  • Day 3: Rs 356 crore worldwide; Rs 201.53 crore in India
  • Day 4: Rs 425 crore worldwide; Rs 241.43 crore in India
  • Day 5: Rs 481 crore worldwide; Rs 283.74 crore in India
  • Day 6: Rs 527 crore worldwide; Rs 312.96 crore in India
  • Day 7: Over Rs 550 crore worldwide; Rs 338.85 crore in India

“Animal” is receiving significant love from audiences in America, Australia, and Gulf countries. In India, the film starring Ranbir Kapoor has earned Rs 338.85 crore, including the Rs 25.50 crore collected on day 7, according to sacnilk.com. The global box office collection for “Animal” has surpassed Rs 550 crore. The upcoming weekend is expected to further boost the film’s earnings, especially on Saturday and Sunday (December 9 and 10).

“Animal” boasts an ensemble cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in lead roles. Ranbir shares bold scenes with actor Triptii Dimri, who has been garnering attention for her character in the movie. From the storyline to high-octane action sequences, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has invested his soul into the project, evident in the final outcome.

Ranbir Kapoor, however, is yet to surpass his own record set by “Sanju” (2018), which holds a gross worldwide box office collection of Rs 586 crore.
