Censor Board Removes Scenes from Film “Bharatiyans,” Producer Shankar Naidu Disappointed

New Delhi:- A press conference was held at PVRA Plaza in New Delhi for the film “Bharatiyans,” based on the Galwan Valley incident. During the press conference, producer Dr. Shankar Naidu provided several details about the film. He expressed his deep sorrow over the removal of two scenes from the film. The first scene depicted the dance of Lord Shiva, and the second scene portrayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a brief moment. However, both scenes have been removed by the Censor Board, causing great disappointment to the producer.

Director Dina Raj, known for his remarkable love stories “Preminchukundam Ra” and “Kalishundam Ra,” is now venturing into his directorial career with the patriotic film “Bharatiyans.” The film features prominent roles played by Niroz Pucha, Sonam Thendup Barfungpa, Subha Ranjan, Samaira Sandhu, Rajeshwari Chakravarti, and Mahendar Bargas. It highlights China’s nefarious strategy and has received much praise from retired Indian Army soldiers through special screenings in various parts of India.

Producer Dr. Shankar Naidu, an eminent NRI and renowned surgeon in the United States, firmly stands against the objections raised by the censor panel regarding China’s mention in his film. The film is scheduled for release in all cinemas on July 14, 2023.

Surprisingly, after 70 cuts, the film is finally set to release. Apart from the removal of scenes, the Censor Board has also removed a song based on Lord Shiva’s Tandava dance. Disheartened by the actions of the censor team, Shankar Naidu stated, “We have not received any support from the Censor Board. The Tandava dance is a song that portrays the triumph of good over evil and is a symbol of Hinduism, which the Censor Board has cut without any consideration, despite our appeals. Is it not an act of hurting Hindu sentiments when they have permitted many films that depict scenes denigrating Hindu gods and goddesses?”

“Bharatiyans” is written and directed by Dina Raj. Produced under the banner of Bharat American Creations, the film will be released in Hindi and Telugu languages on July 14, 2023, in cinemas. It will be distributed by UFO Movies.
