Elvish Yadav Confesses to Snake Venom Supply at Rave Parties

New Delhi : Elvish Yadav, the victor of Bigg Boss OTT, currently in custody following his arrest by Noida law enforcement in connection with a snake venom affair, has acknowledged his involvement in the procurement and distribution of snakes and snake venom at organized rave gatherings. According to authoritative sources within the police department, Yadav admitted to his complicity during interrogation, acknowledging familiarity with another individual previously apprehended for similar offenses last year. The 26-year-old YouTube personality has been remanded to judicial custody for a period of 14 days.

Initially facing charges under the Wildlife Act, Yadav now confronts additional allegations under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, particularly under Section 29 of the Act pertaining to drug-related conspiracies such as trafficking. Securing bail under this statute poses a considerable challenge.

Additionally, Yadav stands accused of integrating snakes into his video productions, initially attributing their provision to Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, although police sources dispute this claim.

The incident in question transpired on November 3, 2023, during a gathering held at a banquet hall in Noida Sector 51, wherein nine snakes were discovered as part of a sting operation conducted by People For Animals. Each of the snakes had been subjected to gland removal, with eight of the nine found lacking their teeth. Notably, Yadav was not present at the event.

In response to prior police inquiries, Yadav adamantly refuted any involvement in the snake venom affair, denouncing the accusations as unfounded. Former Union Minister Maneka Gandhi has voiced strong condemnation of Yadav’s alleged unlawful activities, advocating for his prompt apprehension.

Further complicating matters, Yadav has found himself embroiled in controversy following a widely circulated video depicting him assaulting fellow YouTuber Maxtern, also known as Sagar Thakur. Thakur, in an official complaint filed in Gurugram, accused Yadav of attempting to inflict serious bodily harm. Thakur also asserted that Yadav’s fan pages had been instrumental in propagating hostility and misinformation, resulting in considerable distress.
