Chandrababu Naidu has been granted temporary release on medical grounds by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. He has been given a four-week interim bail in the case related to the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation. The court approved this bail due to Naidu’s health condition, as his legal representatives informed the court about his upcoming cataract surgery. The hearing for the regular bail petition has been scheduled for November 10. Naidu is currently detained in the Rajamahendravarama prison for alleged misappropriation of funds from the Skill Development Corporation, which is believed to have caused a financial loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state. His arrest took place on September 9. The court has instructed Naidu to surrender to the Superintendent of the central prison in Rajamahendravaram on or before November 28.
