Significant tremors shook Delhi today following a 6.2 magnitude earthquake that struck neighboring Nepal. The National Centre for Seismology has identified the earthquake’s epicenter in Nepal.

According to a statement from the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.2 and occurred on October 3, 2023, at 14:51:04 IST. The epicenter was located at Lat: 29.39, Long: 81.23, with a depth of 5 km, in Nepal.
The earthquake’s impact was felt not only in Delhi but also in other areas of the National Capital Region (NCR). Reports indicate that tremors were also experienced in Uttar Pradesh’s cities of Lucknow, Hapur, and Amroha.
