This morning, on March 8, actor Dolly Sohi passed away following a courageous fight against cervical cancer. Tragically, her sister Amandeep Sohi, also an actor, had succumbed to jaundice on Thursday, March 7, after battling illness for a month. The devastating loss of both sisters within a few hours has left the family in profound grief, confirmed by their brother, Mannu Sohi. The funeral for Dolly is scheduled for the afternoon.

In the early hours of today, around 4 am, we lost Dolly. Both sisters, Dolly and Amandeep, were hospitalized at Apollo Hospital in New Mumbai. Amandeep’s passing occurred just a day ago, and now, with Dolly’s demise, our family is in utter devastation,” Mannu conveyed.

In a solemn statement, her family announced the untimely demise of the beloved actor, Dolly, stating, ‘Our cherished Dolly departed for her heavenly abode early this morning. The shock of this loss has left us reeling. The final rites are scheduled for this afternoon, and we will provide additional details.

After a chemotherapy session last year, Dolly posted a photo with a heartfelt message: ‘THANK U EVERYONE FOR SENDING YOUR LOVE AND PRAYERS. Life has been a Roller Coaster lately.
