Planned for a 2026 release

According to industry sources, Cocktail 2 is scheduled for release in 2026. However, the official release date has not yet been announced. The makers have also kept the storyline under wraps, but it is expected to explore a complex and emotional journey between one male lead and two female leads, much like the first installment.

The success of the first film

Released in 2012, the original Cocktail starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty in lead roles. The film not only grossed over ₹125 crore at the box office but also struck a chord with audiences through its music, characters, and performances. Deepika and Saif’s chemistry was widely praised, while Diana Penty’s innocence won many hearts.

Now, all eyes are on Shahid, Kriti, and Rashmika to see if this fresh trio can recreate the same magic on screen.
