JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Date Stands Firm Despite Lok Sabha Elections

New Delhi : The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 exam date will not be changed despite the Lok Sabha elections. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is set to conduct the JEE Advanced 2024 on May 26, 2024. While other exam-conducting bodies like the National Testing Agency and the Union Public Service Commission have adjusted their dates due to the elections, the JEE (Advanced) date remains unchanged. According to the official statement, “There is no change in the exam date for the JEE (Advanced) 2024 in view of the general elections. The exam will be held on 26th May as scheduled.”

The JEE Advanced 2024 exam, organized by IIT Madras, is scheduled for May 26. This exam comprises two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2), each lasting three hours, and candidates are required to appear for both. The JEE (Advanced) 2024 exam will be conducted exclusively in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

The question papers for JEE Advanced 2024 will include sections on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, testing candidates’ comprehension, reasoning, and analytical skills. Negative marking may apply for incorrect answers. Specific details regarding the marking scheme will be outlined in the “Instructions to Candidates” provided during the examination.

Question papers will be available in both English and Hindi, and candidates can select their preferred language and switch between them during the exam. In case of any kind discrepancy, the English version of the question will be considered final.

Candidates must bring a printed copy of their downloaded admit card and an original, valid photo identity card (such as Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, or Notarized Certificate with photograph) to the examination venue.
