Kejriwal’s Wife Announces ‘Big Expose’ on Alleged Excise Policy Scam in Court

New Delhi : Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, addressed a press conference on Wednesday, announcing that the Delhi Chief Minister intends to disclose everything regarding an alleged excise policy scam in court on March 28. She mentioned that Kejriwal would reveal the whereabouts of the funds involved in the liquor scam and provide evidence to support his claims.

Sunita highlighted recent events, including Kejriwal’s correspondence with Water Minister Atishi concerning water and sewer issues in Delhi, which led to a legal case filed against him by the central government. She expressed concern over the ramifications of such actions on the people of Delhi and emphasized Kejriwal’s distress over the matter.

Regarding the so-called liquor scam, Sunita informed that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted over 250 raids but found no evidence of the alleged scam’s funds. She reiterated Kejriwal’s commitment to disclosing all relevant details in court and providing evidence to support his stance.

During the press conference, Sunita mentioned that during a raid on their residence in Delhi’s Civil Lines area, the ED only found Rs 73,000. These statements come in the context of ongoing legal proceedings, with the Delhi High Court hearing a petition filed by Arvind Kejriwal challenging his arrest and subsequent remand by the ED, which he contends are unlawful. Kejriwal asserts that the probe agency violated his fundamental and human rights and failed to establish his guilt at the time of his arrest.
