The situation arose when Oncologist Dr. AK Pathan booked a cab using the InDrive app. The driver, expressing his devotion to Lord Ram, insisted that he would only pick up Dr. Pathan if he chanted “Jai Shree Ram.”

Dr. Pathan needed transportation to attend a wedding ceremony in Nashik over the weekend and requested a pickup from Haji Ali in the afternoon. In response, the driver instructed him to chant “Jai Shree Ram” before agreeing to accept the booking.
