Naveen Patnaik Gives PM Modi’s Policies an “8 Out Of 10” Rating

During an interactive session at the Odisha Literary Festival in Bhubaneswar, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy and his efforts in tackling corruption within the country. Patnaik emphasized the importance of a cooperative relationship between the state and the central government for the development of Odisha.

Giving Prime Minister Modi’s government a rating of ‘8 out of 10,’ Patnaik stated, “The government has made significant strides in foreign policy, and there has been a noticeable reduction in corruption. Prime Minister Modi has played a crucial role in eradicating corruption and has made earnest efforts to serve the people of our nation.”

Regarding the Women Reservation Bill, Patnaik expressed his support, saying, “I consider it a crucial step. My party has always been committed to women’s development. My father initiated this commitment by reserving 33 percent of seats in local elections, and we have now increased that to 50 percent. In the recent parliamentary elections, we also reserved 33 percent of our seats for women.”

Patnaik also highlighted the “Mission Shakti” program, which involves the economic and overall empowerment of seven million women in the state.

Addressing the concept of One Nation One Election, Patnaik affirmed his party’s readiness for elections at both the state and national levels at any time, expressing a welcoming stance toward the idea.
