Vote for goods, a murder of democracy by BJP

In the absence of anticipated support from the public, politicians are often seen resorting to various tactics to secure votes, a BJP candidate from West Jabalpur has allegedly taken a step in the same direction. They are ready to compromise democracy by offering valuable goods in exchange for votes.
It has been learned that the BJP in West Jabalpur is organizing a trade recognition event and is making arrangements to distribute valuable goods during the program.

According to sources, this event is scheduled to take place at 8.00 PM today at the Gulzar Hotel in the city. While BJP workers are actively promoting this program in the streets, the local administration seems to have turned a blind eye despite being aware of the information.
It is a matter of concern that in the past week, the BJP’s candidate for the West Assembly constituency had openly violated the Model Code of Conduct by conducting election-related activities in honor of lawyers. Even at that time, the local administration remained silent despite being aware. People perceive this joint effort of the local administration and BJP as an attempt to weaken democracy, as it appears to be influencing voters in a way that undermines democracy.
