This press conference was to showcase the development and rise of Bharat. It assumes significant importance considering the on going biggest celebration of India’s democracy across the length and breadth of Bharat. Today the future of Bharat is in the hands of the people and it is a very important that the governance of our country should be in strong hands so that its future will be bright and we have Vikshit Bharat by 2047. Today the whole world is going through an economic recession and Bharat is poised to become the second leading economy of the world. Bharat’s GDP is increasing day by day compared to other countries due to its strong and robust economic policies.

Respected Prime Minister Modi ji and his strong and capable team has made a huge contribution in last decade due to which development is taking place in Bharat day by day in every field. Bharat’s foreign policy has increased the respect of Bharat and of its citizens. Bharat today is 5th largest economy and aspires to become world’s second largest economy by 2047 with GDP size of 30+ trillion dollars. This now looks achievable considering the fact that Bharat has been maintaining more than 8% of annual growth for last few years. Moreover, there is a thrust on human capital development, scaling up skills to raise productivity and wages and a higher rate of public and private investments that generate quality employment. Core objective of the Viksit Bharat vision is to foster inclusive economic participation among all citizens.

Dr Azad Kumar Kaushik further elaborated the expectations of NRIs from Bharat and stressed the need of having dual citizenship for NRIs on the same lines which many other countries are already providing. Though presently NRIs do have voting rights but in order to exercise that they need to travel to Bharat. This aspect need to be reviewed so that the voting can be done online digitally from their respective countries. He also explained how a strong Bharat means well for the world with its strong cultural leadership that Bharat can provide to the world. Bharat has been global leader on economic front in the past and very soon with a focussed leadership can once again be a global leader on economic front.
