New Delhi : Swiggy, the prominent food-tech company, has expanded its delivery services beyond food items over the years. Today, Swiggy offers Swiggy Instamart, Swiggy Genie, and more, providing on-demand delivery of various goods right to your doorstep. In a recent update, the e-commerce platform has integrated Instamart with Swiggy Mall to enhance its product range for delivery. According to a blog post on Swiggy’s official website, “Swiggy Mall represents Swiggy’s venture into online retail, delivering a much broader range of home and family necessities compared to existing quick commerce platforms.”
The report indicates that Swiggy Mall is currently active in parts of Bengaluru, but due to growing demand, the company plans to increase choices for consumers who are interested in purchasing items beyond just groceries and basic supplies. Swiggy mentions that Swiggy Instamart is already available in over 25 cities, paving the way for Swiggy Mall to expand significantly in the upcoming months.
“Swiggy Instamart is diversifying its offerings to include an extensive range of products. With our latest update, customers can now browse through a wide selection across 35+ categories, extending beyond groceries and home essentials, all delivered within minutes,” explains Phani Kishan, Head of Swiggy Instamart.
He further emphasizes that this initiative signifies a major milestone in the brand’s journey towards providing convenience to consumers within a short timeframe.
