A sensational all-round performance by 21-year-old Jainendra Singh at Rovers Ground in UAE guided Ryders Cricket Club, since 2009 to a commanding 8 wicket victory over WolfPack Titans in the Weeknight Powerhitters League match in Sharjah on Wednesday.
Chasing a challenging target, Ryders Cricket Club showcased a commanding performance, reaching the required total effortlessly and emphasizing their strong intentions in the tournament.
Wolfpack Titans Post Competitive Total
Earlier, WolfPack Titans set a competitive total. Batting first, they scored 211 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Leading the charge, wicketkeeper-batter Ahsan Ansar delivered a brilliant knock of 95 runs off 47 balls, striking 7 fours and 8 sixes. He received solid support from Khawaja Umer, who remained unbeaten on 33 runs, helping the Titans establish a strong platform.
Further contributions came from Muhammad Abid, who added 15 runs, SS, who scored 10 runs, and Muhammad Aamir, who chipped in with 13 runs. Together, these efforts ensured steady momentum throughout the innings and set a challenging target for Ryders to chase.
Jainendra Leads the Chase
Ryders Cricket Club’s chase was dominated by Jainendra Singh, who produced an extraordinary innings under pressure.
The right-handed batter remained unbeaten on 139 runs from just 39 balls, smashing six fours and seventeen sixes at a remarkable strike rate of 356.41. His fearless stroke play completely changed the course of the match.

Ryders Cricket Club chased down the target in just 12.2 overs, finishing at 212 for the loss of two wickets. What began as a challenging chase quickly turned into a one-sided contest.
