Recognised for excellence in Media, Communication, and South Asia Media Diplomacy, receiving the prestigious LIPI Europe Media Award 2026
New Delhi: Senior journalist and media communication expert Dr. O.P. Yadav has received the LIPI Europe Media Award 2026 for his exceptional contributions to media, communication, and South Asia media diplomacy. The honour was conferred during the India Beyond Borders international cultural and literary event organised by LIPI Europe at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.
The award was presented by Union Minister of State Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, Kanpur MP Ramesh Awasthi, ICCR Director Sunil Kumar Singh, Padma Shri Surendra Sharma, and Dr. Yojna Jain, President of LIPI Europe.
During the event, Prof. Baghel praised Dr. Yadav’s contributions to media and communication at South Asian University, highlighting his role in advancing academic excellence and regional media diplomacy.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Yadav described the recognition as a proud milestone that reinforces his commitment to strengthening media diplomacy, cultural collaboration, and communication between India and South Asian nations.
