New Delhi: Akhila Sevak Samaj Council (ASSC) National Chairman and Founder Dr. Bhargav Mallappa met Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi in New Delhi to discuss initiatives related to youth skill development, employment and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Mallappa invited the Union Minister to visit skill development institutes associated with his initiatives in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. He explained how these institutes provide practical training to young people and help them explore employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Jitan Ram Manjhi praised Dr. Mallappa’s efforts to strengthen skill development and create opportunities for young people. He said he would seek to visit the institutes, interact with students undergoing training and gain a better understanding of their grassroots activities.
During the meeting, Dr. Mallappa also appreciated the Ministry of MSME’s initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, skill development and employment generation. He stressed that greater collaboration between grassroots institutions and government programmes could help take skill training and livelihood opportunities to more young people.
Both sides discussed ways to expand skill development initiatives and support young people in building careers through employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship.
