New Delhi : Home Minister Amit Shah narrowly avoided a major accident when his helicopter lost balance in Bihar’s Begusarai on Monday. Shah had been in Begusarai to address a public gathering. During his speech, he vehemently criticized the Congress president regarding the Kashmir issue, stating, “Kashmir is a part of India. The Congress president questions the relevance of Kashmir to states like Rajasthan and Bihar. For 70 years, Congress and Lalu Yadav treated Article 370 like their own. However, when Prime Minister Modi took office for the second time, he revoked this article.”
“Rahul Gandhi claimed that if Article 370 were revoked, blood would flow in Kashmir. Yet, not a single stone has been thrown in five years,” he added.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police has summoned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for questioning on May 1 in connection with a doctored video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah circulating on social media. According to sources, notices were served to five individuals, including Reddy, who shared the video on X platform.
Reddy, who also serves as the Telangana Congress chief, has been instructed to bring the mobile phone allegedly used to post the fake video on X, according to sources.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police filed an FIR on Sunday after the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, lodged a complaint about the manipulated video of Shah. In the video, Shah’s remarks indicating a commitment to abolish reservations for Muslims in Telangana were altered to suggest he advocated scrapping all reservations.
The case has been registered under various sections of the IPC and the IT Act, with sources in the Special Cell suggesting that arrests may soon follow nationwide.
