Bengaluru: The CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 was declared on April 15. In these results, 15-year-old Swanti Goel from National Public School (NPS) Indiranagar, Bengaluru, emerged as a standout performer. She achieved an impressive 497 out of 500 marks — that’s 99.4%. Moreover, she scored a perfect 100 in four out of five subjects.

This year, a total of 24.71 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 board exams. Out of them, 23.16 lakh students passed successfully. As a result, the overall pass percentage reached 93.70%. This figure shows a slight improvement compared to 93.66% last year.

Girl students once again outperformed boys by a clear margin. The pass percentage for girls stood at 94.99%. In contrast, boys recorded 92.69%. Consequently, girls maintained a lead of more than 2 percentage points. This trend highlights their strong dedication and consistent hard work across the country.

Swanti Goel earned her exceptional CBSE Class 10 score through consistent effort instead of last-minute cramming. She said she studied regularly throughout the year. Because of this habit, she felt calm and completely stress-free when the exams finally arrived.

Future Plans: PCM Stream and Chip Design Career

Looking ahead, Swanti remains clearly focused on her goals. First, she plans to choose the PCM stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in Class 11. Eventually, she aspires to become a chip designer and follow in her father’s footsteps.

Meanwhile, India continues to make rapid progress in the semiconductor industry. Therefore, Swanti feels truly excited to contribute to this booming sector in the coming years.
