Debina Bonnerjee’s Vlog Post on Defying Body Shaming
Having recently embraced motherhood for the second time with the arrival of her daughter Divisha, Debina’s primary focus currently lies in taking care of her young children. Despite the challenges that come with post-pregnancy weight, she remains determined to achieve her fitness goals. In her recent vlog, she confidently exclaimed, “Whenever you all comment ‘chhoti haathi,’ ‘mini haathi,’ I don’t know why, but it’s like music to my ears. Every time I hear it, it’s a reminder for me to never stop working hard. When society taunts you, take it as a positive motivation and strive to be your best self. The stubborn fat in the lower stomach feels like an obstacle, but I will conquer it. Let the insults come; they only motivate me further. I could hide it with loose outfits, but that’s not what I want. I want to wear a bikini again and flaunt myself, just like I did in the Maldives. I dream about it and keep pushing forward.”
Debina frequently shares her journey of motherhood and provides updates about her two daughters, Lianna and Divisha, on her Youtube channel. Recently, she mentioned that her mother has returned to assist her at home, allowing her to juggle multiple tasks. Despite societal pressures and the harsh comments she receives on social media regarding her physical appearance, Debina stressed the importance of savoring every moment of this stage of motherhood.
Debina has previously revealed that she hasn’t been able to shed the post-pregnancy weight as of yet. She highlighted the challenges of adhering to a strict diet while being a breastfeeding mother, as it can potentially impact milk production.
