Election Commission to Announce Lok Sabha and Assembly Poll Schedule Tomorrow

#Press conference to unveil dates for Lok Sabha and state elections, live stream available on social media platforms

New Delhi : The Election Commission of India announced that it will reveal the complete schedule for the eagerly awaited Lok Sabha elections, along with the dates for assembly elections in Odisha, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh, during a press conference at 3 pm on Saturday. The commission stated that the press conference will be broadcasted live on its social media platforms.

Speculation suggests that the Lok Sabha elections might be conducted in seven to eight phases, although the exact details will be clarified during the announcement on Saturday.

This announcement comes as the current term of the Lok Sabha is set to conclude on June 16, requiring the formation of a new House before the deadline. In the previous elections, which were announced on March 10, the polling took place in seven phases starting from April 11, with the vote counting held on May 23.
