PM Modi Criticizes Congress, Defends ‘Shakti’ in Telangana Rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a stern critique of the Congress party during a political gathering in Telangana’s Jagtial, emphasizing his reverence for the concept of ‘Shakti’, symbolizing feminine power. He denounced the INDI alliance’s manifesto for purportedly targeting this essence of womanhood, framing it as a direct challenge to his values.

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, where he referenced confronting a force termed ‘Shakti’ within Hinduism, PM Modi questioned the legitimacy of such discourse, citing the Chandrayaan mission’s celebration of ‘Shiv Shakti’.

Addressing the audience in Jagtial, PM Modi underscored the significance of the ongoing democratic process, slated to culminate in historic elections on May 13 in Telangana. He criticized the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) for what he deemed as exploitation of public trust and governance for personal gain, contrasting it with the Congress party’s purported stance on ‘Shakti’.

Furthermore, PM Modi highlighted the difference between those who discuss power’s annihilation and those who venerate ‘Shakti’, aligning himself firmly with the latter perspective.

Rahul Gandhi’s recent remarks in Maharashtra, raising concerns about Electronic Voting Machine integrity and employing the term ‘Shakti’ to symbolize the opposition’s struggle against state authority, were also mentioned in the discourse.
