Krushna Abhishek was overjoyed when his uncle, Govinda, attended his sister Arti Singh’s wedding to businessman Dipak Chauhan on April 25. Despite a longstanding rift between Krushna and Govinda, the actor’s presence at the intimate yet star-studded event seemed to signify a reconciliation. Krushna expressed his happiness, saying, “Today is a day of great joy, for Arti and for all of us. I am thrilled that Uncle (Govinda) came. It’s from the heart, our emotional bond. I am so happy to see him. He is still family.”
Krushna and Govinda had been estranged for the past eight years, with their wives, Kashmera Shah and Sunita Ahuja, engaging in social media spats. Notably, only Govinda attended the wedding, dressed in a black bandhgala, and greeted the paparazzi with a flying kiss. At the event, Govinda expressed his prayers for Arti’s well-being, hoping she remains protected from negative energies.
It’s evident that Govinda’s presence marked a significant moment of reconciliation and familial bonding for Krushna and his extended family.
