Honda Elevate facelift bookings are now open for Rs 21,000. Check its design updates, new features, engine details and October 6 launch date
New Delhi: Honda Cars India has opened bookings for the facelifted Elevate SUV ahead of its India launch on October 6, 2026. Buyers can book the updated SUV at authorised Honda dealerships across the country by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000. Honda has also released a teaser ahead of the launch, giving us a first look at the design and cabin updates. India will be the first market to receive the updated Elevate.
Major Design Updates at the Front
Honda has made the biggest changes to the Elevate’s front-end design. The teaser shows a new grille with a glossy hexagonal pattern. Honda has also moved its logo from the grille to the bonnet, giving the SUV a revised front profile.
The facelift also gets a new segmented LED DRL setup, which gives the Elevate a different look compared to the current model. Honda has retained the overall design of the main headlamp units and fog lamp housings. The SUV could also get new alloy wheels, while the rear may feature connected LED tail-lights and redesigned bumpers.
Updated Cabin and New Features
Honda has also refreshed the Elevate’s cabin. The teaser shows a white leatherette finish on the dashboard with contrasting stitching. The company has added ambient lighting to the dashboard and door panels, giving the interior a more premium appearance.
Honda has not revealed the complete feature list yet, but the facelift could receive several important upgrades. These may include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, a powered front passenger seat and rear sunblinds.
The updated Elevate could also retain the LaneWatch camera from the current model. The teaser shows a camera mounted on the left ORVM, suggesting that Honda may continue offering the system on the facelifted SUV.
Engine and Gearbox
Honda is unlikely to make major mechanical changes to the Elevate facelift. The SUV should continue with the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces around 120hp and 145Nm of torque.
Honda currently pairs this engine with a six-speed manual gearbox and a CVT automatic transmission. The company has not confirmed the addition of the City’s strong-hybrid powertrain to the facelifted Elevate. For now, Honda appears to have focused on updating the SUV’s design and features.
Price to Be Announced on October 6
Honda will announce the facelifted Elevate’s prices and variant-wise feature list at the launch on October 6. The SUV will continue to compete in the mid-size SUV segment against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and Renault Duster.
Honda has already started accepting bookings for Rs 21,000. The company will reveal the complete details, including prices, variants and equipment, at the official launch next week.
