New Delhi: The Indian Industries Association (IIA), led by its National President Shri Dinesh Goyal, organised an industry interaction and media briefing at its Central Office in New Delhi to announce the 11th India Food Expo 2026. Scheduled for 18–20 September 2026 at Regalia Greens, Gomti Nagar Extension, Lucknow, the event is aimed at strengthening India’s MSME ecosystem. The briefing drew participation from over 100 entrepreneurs, industrialists, and MSME stakeholders.
160 Exhibition Stalls to Highlight Food Industry Innovations
Addressing the gathering, Shri Alok Agarwal, National Senior Vice President of IIA, announced that the Expo will host nearly 160 exhibitors showcasing advanced technologies in food processing, packaging, cold chain management, automation, logistics, and related sectors. He also said eligible MSMEs can avail up to 80% subsidy on stall bookings under government norms, with the incentive limited to the first 60 qualifying exhibitors.
IIA Highlights Expo’s Role in Driving MSME Growth
During his address, Shri Deepak Kumar Bajaj, General Secretary, IIA, described India Food Expo as one of North India’s most prominent food processing industry events. He said the platform connects manufacturers, exporters, technology providers, startups, investors, buyers, and policymakers to encourage collaboration and business expansion. The Expo, he added, will accelerate innovation, technology adoption, exports, networking, and investments while creating fresh opportunities for MSMEs. He also shared that IIA’s membership has crossed 16,000, representing around one lakh industrial units nationwide.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mamtamayi Priyadarshini, State Chairperson, IIA Delhi & Haryana, emphasized that the food processing industry plays a vital role in generating employment, increasing value addition, improving farmers’ incomes, and driving MSME development.
She said India Food Expo 2026 will serve as a collaborative platform where industry, government, academia, startups, and innovators can work together to encourage technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable industrial growth while contributing to the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
Dr. Lakshmikant Pandey, CEC Member, IIA, said the Expo’s technical sessions are designed to help MSMEs embrace modern technologies, enhance product quality, and remain competitive in an evolving market.
Meanwhile, Shri Neeraj Bajaj, Secretary, IIA Delhi Chapter, said the event will open new avenues for MSMEs by facilitating business networking, technology integration, and market expansion.
Three-Day Expo to Focus on Innovation and Global Collaboration
The 11th India Food Expo 2026 will feature buyer-seller meets, live technology showcases, technical seminars, and expert sessions. Additionally, it will cover food processing, packaging, logistics, food safety, AI-powered manufacturing, branding, exports, and supply chain management. The Expo will also host international business delegations to promote technology exchange, investment, and global partnerships.

IIA has invited food processors, MSMEs, startups, exporters, FPOs, buyers, investors, and technology firms from across India to participate. The Expo will provide a platform for networking, business expansion, and exploring opportunities in the growing food processing sector.
