With India contributing 482,944 visitors by October 22, Sri Lanka Tourism will meet Kerala travel professionals at a Kochi roadshow on October 28
KOCHI, Kerala: Sri Lanka Tourism will bring more than 20 tourism businesses to Kochi on October 28 for a networking event aimed at expanding commercial ties with Kerala’s travel industry. The roadshow will give tourism providers from Sri Lanka a platform to meet local travel agents, tour operators and other industry stakeholders.
The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), working with the Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission in Chennai, will host the Travel Trade Roadshow and Networking Evening at Ramada by Wyndham Garden in Kochi.
Direct Meetings Between Tourism Businesses
The event will focus on building professional connections between Sri Lankan tourism companies and Kerala’s travel trade. Participating businesses are expected to include hotels, resorts, destination management companies, tourist attractions and tourism service providers.
The meetings will allow participants to introduce their products, discuss market needs and explore potential partnerships. Travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel representatives and MICE specialists from Kochi and nearby areas are expected to take part.
The programme will include business-to-business networking, destination presentations, one-on-one buyer-seller meetings and media sessions. Organisers have also planned traditional Sri Lankan cultural performances, a networking dinner and promotional giveaways.

Kerala Offers Opportunities Across Tourism Segments
Kochi serves as a commercial and tourism centre in Kerala, making it a relevant location for Sri Lankan businesses seeking to connect with regional travel professionals.
The roadshow will explore opportunities across leisure travel, family holidays, premium vacations, destination weddings and MICE tourism. Stronger business connections could help travel companies develop packages and offer more Sri Lankan destinations and experiences to their customers.
Sri Lanka’s tourism portfolio includes beaches, heritage attractions, wildlife, scenic landscapes, luxury resorts, wellness retreats and adventure activities.
