Jeep Meridian Track Edition Launched in India at ₹35.95 Lakh

Jeep Meridian Track Edition debuts with bold styling updates, 140mm sliding seats, premium features and Jeep Confidence 7 ownership benefits

New Delhi: Jeep India has launched the Meridian Track Edition, a limited-run version of its popular seven-seat SUV. The company has built this new edition on the top-spec Meridian Overland variant. With this launch, Jeep aims to offer buyers a more stylish and comfortable option, along with added flexibility inside the cabin and the benefits of the Jeep Confidence 7 ownership programme. Bookings are now open across India, and deliveries will begin soon.

Price and Options

Jeep has priced the Meridian Track Edition at ₹35.95 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 4×2 automatic version. The 4×4 automatic variant costs ₹37.82 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition is slightly more expensive than the regular Overland trim because of its additional styling details and features.

Fresh Exterior Look

Jeep has given the Track Edition a more eye-catching and sporty appearance. It features Piano Black accents on the grille, badges, and other exterior elements. The SUV also gets a Dark Espresso grille with Neutral Grey highlights, which enhances its front design.

In addition, Jeep has added a Track Edition hood decal, special badging, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. These updates make the SUV look sharper and more distinctive while keeping Jeep’s signature design intact.

140mm Sliding Seats

One of the biggest highlights of this edition is the 140 mm sliding second-row seat. Jeep has introduced this feature to improve cabin flexibility. Passengers can move the second row forward to make it easier to enter the third row or adjust legroom and luggage space as needed.

This upgrade makes the SUV more practical for families and long trips by offering better space management.

Upgraded Cabin Feel

Inside the cabin, Jeep has introduced a dual-tone Tupelo upholstery theme with suede inserts, contrast stitching, and quilted seat detailing. The company has also added Dark Espresso accents and Piano Black trims to give the interior a more premium look.

The steering wheel comes wrapped in Cortina leather with detailed stitching, and Jeep has placed “Track Edition” branding on elements like the floor mats and certain cabin surfaces. These touches create a more refined and special feel inside the SUV.

Features and Technology

The Meridian Track Edition carries forward the strong feature list from the Overland variant. It includes a 10.1-inch Uconnect infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The SUV also offers a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and 12-way powered and ventilated front seats with memory function. For music lovers, Jeep provides a premium Alpine sound system.

In terms of safety, the SUV comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include several active safety features to support the driver.

Engine and Performance

Jeep has not changed the engine setup for this edition. The Meridian Track Edition continues to use the 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel engine, which produces 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque.

The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and buyers can choose between 2WD and 4WD options. The SUV also retains Jeep’s Selec-Terrain traction management system, which helps it handle different road conditions confidently.

Jeep Confidence 7 Benefits

Jeep offers the Track Edition with its Jeep Confidence 7 ownership programme. This package provides up to seven years of warranty coverage, along with roadside assistance, maintenance packages, assured buyback options, and priority service support.

With this programme, Jeep aims to give customers long-term peace of mind and added value.

Market Focus

Through the Meridian Track Edition, Jeep targets customers who want a more stylish and flexible version of the seven-seat SUV without moving to a much higher price bracket. The addition of the sliding second-row seat directly responds to customer demand for better interior space management.

By combining bold styling, practical upgrades, premium features, and strong ownership benefits, Jeep positions the Meridian Track Edition as one of the most comfortable and well-equipped versions of the SUV available in India today.
