On Wednesday night, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made history at the ACA-VDA stadium in Visakhapatnam by recording the second-highest team total in Indian Premier League (IPL) history.
Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Ankit Rajpoot contributed significantly as KKR scored an impressive 272/7 in 20 overs, breaking their previous record set against the Punjab Kings in 2018 with 245/6.
As the Sunrisers Hyderabad piled up 277/3 against the Mumbai Indians last week, they achieved the biggest score in the history of the league. Kolkata is now ranked second in the IPL for the greatest totals, ahead of teams like Chennai Super Kings (246/5), Royal Challengers Bangalore (263/5 & 248/3), and Lucknow Super Giants (257/5) on the list.
