#Rajasthani handicrafts, food and cultural activities are the main attraction for visitors

New Delhi, April 3, 2024:

Rajasthan Utsav Mela is being organized from March 27, 2024 to April 4, 2024 at Bikaner House in New Delhi on the occasion of Rajasthan Foundation Day. The event is being jointly organized by Bikaner House Management Society, Tourism Department and RUDA, Jaipur.

During this festival, the handicrafts fair organized by RUDA is seeing brisk sales of Bagru print sarees, suits and other women’s garments prepared by Ram Babu Chhipa from Bagru. Mohammed Rawoof from Kota has set up a stall of Kota Doria sarees, which is very popular with Delhiite buyers. A stall of Jaipur jewellery, famous in India and abroad, has been set up by Abhilasha, where a crowd of women can be seen. Cultural performances by Rajasthani artists, block printing, and Rajasthani food stalls are the main attractions of the fair.

RUDA fair director Mr. Om Prakash said that this fair is proving to be a unique confluence of providing a platform for the exquisite products and artwork of artisans with national emotional unity and promoting traditional handmade products. Mr. Mayank of RUDA said that the fair is open from 11 am to 9 pm daily till April 4. He said that during the fair, many other interesting cultural activities and exhibitions are also being organized at the Bikaner House complex, where anyone can come and enjoy them. Free entry has been kept for the visitors in this fair.
