MERI Hosts Student Conference on Emerging Technologies; Innovation Takes Centre Stage

Management Education & Research Institute ( MERI ) organized the third student conference on “Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Emerging Technologies,” creating a strong platform for knowledge, research, and innovation. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) conducted the conference, where around 120 students actively participated and presented their research papers. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the national anthem.

Vice Chairman Prof. Lalit Aggarwal encouraged students to pursue innovation, while Prof. Tapash Dey stressed the importance of discipline and ethical values.

Rohit Ranjan, a systems analyst at the World Health Organization, delivered the keynote address and highlighted the growing convergence of artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and biotechnology. He emphasized that data science will drive the future of these fields. Prof. Neha from the Army Institute of Management and Technology urged students to move forward with discipline, dedication, and continuous learning.

Students presented research on data visualization, cloud computing, digital marketing, and climate change, demonstrating strong analytical abilities and creative thinking. The organizers honoured Divyanshi Juneja, Narayan Singh, Ujjwal, Shruti Batra, and Riddhi Raswant for their outstanding performance. The conference successfully inspired students to deepen their engagement with research and innovation.
