Responsibility assigned to strengthen journalists’ voices and expand the organization across the state

The National Journalists Safety Commission has appointed Shri Yogesh Bhatt as the Executive President for Uttarakhand with immediate effect. The appointment was officially announced through a letter issued by the Commission’s National President, Nishikant Rai.
Yogesh Bhatt, who belongs to the Kotdwar region of Pauri Garhwal district, has been actively associated with social causes and issues concerning journalists for many years. Considering his experience and working style, the Commission entrusted him with this responsibility.
Speaking on the appointment, Nishikant Rai said that under Yogesh Bhatt’s leadership, the organization would gain stronger ground in Uttarakhand and issues related to journalists would be raised more effectively.
After assuming the role, Yogesh Bhatt said the appointment was both an honour and a major responsibility. He stated that he would work with full dedication for the safety, dignity, and rights of journalists in Uttarakhand. He also said the organization would ensure that every journalist’s voice is heard and receives proper support.
Bhatt further announced plans to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level by forming district-level teams across the state so that journalists’ concerns can be addressed more quickly and efficiently.
The National Journalists Safety Commission expressed confidence that under Yogesh Bhatt’s leadership, the organization would expand further in Uttarakhand and continue to work strongly on issues related to journalists’ welfare and protection.
