Paapori Harsh Blends Music, Mindfulness and Self-Discovery

Paapori Harsh moves from corporate leadership to music, blending Sufi, folk and classical traditions with mindfulness and emotional well-being

GURUGRAM: For vocalist and performing artist Paapori Harsh, music offers more than entertainment. She uses it to express emotions, share personal stories and build meaningful connections with people.

Based in Bengaluru, Paapori works as a conscious music activist and certified Music and Wellness Happiness Coach. Her journey from corporate leadership to music reflects her interest in human behaviour, emotional intelligence, mindfulness and personal growth.

Before pursuing music full-time, she spent nearly 15 years in the National Capital Region (NCR), working in senior human resources leadership, consulting, management training and academia. Her professional experience continues to shape the way she approaches music and human connections.

Training Across Indian Musical Traditions

Paapori holds a Sangeet Visharad qualification and trained under Vidushi Padmaja Chakraborty, a disciple of the legendary Vidushi Girija Devi.

Her musical repertoire includes Sufi, folk, ghazal, Bollywood, Hindustani classical and Indian fusion. She has also completed certification in Music and Wellness from Berklee College of Music in Boston and Happiness Coaching from Berkeley College in California.

“For me, music is not just performance; it is a way to connect, heal, question and return to the self,” Paapori Harsh says.

This philosophy guides her work both on stage and through initiatives that bring music and emotional well-being together.
