In a significant step towards strengthening institutional support for para-athletes, Mrs. Parul Singh, President of the Paralympic Committee of India (Delhi State) and Divyang Para Sports Association of Delhi, today led a delegation comprising Dr. Harvinder Saluja (Chief Advisor & Senior Vice President), Rahul Kasana (General Secretary), Gaurav Choudhry (Vice President), and Lalit (Treasurer) in a meeting with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC).

The discussions focused on creating better infrastructure, training facilities, and opportunities for para-athletes in the capital. Mrs. Singh emphasized that para-sports must be given equal importance and recognition, and highlighted the urgent need for collective efforts to empower differently-abled athletes.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Parul Singh said, “This partnership is a step forward in building an inclusive sports ecosystem where para-athletes receive the facilities, recognition, and encouragement they truly deserve. With the support of community institutions like DSGMC, we are confident of creating lasting impact for our athletes.”
