Samsung Galaxy M15 5G Launched in India: Features Dimensity 6100+ SoC, 6,000mAh Battery

Samsung has launched the Galaxy M15 5G in India, featuring a Dimensity 6100+ SoC and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The phone was officially introduced on April 8 following pre-orders from the previous week. This new addition to the Galaxy M-series is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and boasts a triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a 50-megapixel main sensor. The Galaxy M15 5G sports an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and includes a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The design and hardware closely resemble those of the Galaxy A15 5G, which debuted in India last December.

The starting price of the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G in India is Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 14,499. The phone is available for purchase on Amazon in Blue Topaz, Celestial Blue, and Stone Grey color options.

Samsung is offering an instant Rs. 1,000 discount on HDFC bank card purchases, as well as Rs. 1,000 off on exchanges. Additionally, customers can purchase a Samsung 25W travel adapter priced at Rs. 1,699 for just Rs. 300.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy M15 5G is a dual-SIM (Nano) device running Android 14. It is promised to receive four generations of Android updates and five years of security updates. The phone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop-style notch housing the front camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD card).

Camera-wise, the Galaxy M15 5G boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, alongside 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, there’s a 13-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity options on the samsung Galaxy mobile M15 5G include 5G, GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also features various sensors including accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.

The Galaxy M15 5G is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, offering up to 21 hours of video playback and up to 128 hours of audio playback on a single charge. The phone measures 160.1×76.8×9.3mm and weighs 217 grams.
