iPhone 17 Plus to Feature Smaller Screen Than Predecessors

New Delhi : The iPhone 17 Plus is expected to have a smaller screen size compared to the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 16 Plus. This change is anticipated to be a notable departure from its predecessors. According to Ross Young, CEO and Co-Founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), who often provides accurate details on Apple’s upcoming devices, the iPhone 17 Plus will feature a slightly reduced display size.

Although Young hasn’t specified the exact size of the iPhone 17 Plus screen, he suggests that it will be larger than the regular iPhone 17 but smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Previously, both the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 15 Plus had the same 6.7-inch display as their respective Pro Max counterparts, and it’s expected that the upcoming iPhone 16 Plus will follow suit.

The standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models are likely to have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, while the Pro models are expected to have slightly larger screens this year. The iPhone 16 Pro could feature a 6.3-inch screen, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max might come with a 6.9-inch display.

It’s important to treat these iPhone 17 Plus rumors with caution, as there is still some time before Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series in 2025. The iPhone 16 series is anticipated to be released in the third quarter of 2024, comprising the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
