It’s evident that a segment of the audience is enjoying the movie, and it’s on track to easily cross the 100 crore milestone in the coming days. Directed by Vikas Bahl, “Shaitaan” hit theaters on March 8 and has been garnering positive reviews from critics. As per sacnilk’s report, the film raked in over Rs 5.78 crore on its fifth day of release, Tuesday.
After passing the critical test of the first weekday, the horror flick experienced a slight decline yesterday, which is quite typical. While it performed well over the weekend with a surge in ticket sales, Monday witnessed a dip, earning just Rs 7.25 crore. The fifth day’s revenue stands at Rs 67.75 crore, the lowest so far for the movie, according to the report. Additionally, the Hindi occupancy rate for “Shaitaan” on Tuesday was recorded at 11.12% overall.

Produced by actor Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, the film is presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios. It revolves around a fatal night when Janhvi (played by Janki Bodiwala, who portrays Ajay Devgn’s daughter) is captivated by an unexpected visitor at a family’s secluded farmhouse in the hills. R Madhavan plays the guest, while Jyotika essays the role of Ajay’s wife in the movie.
The film’s ability to sustain its momentum will determine its ultimate success. Despite other releases in March, “Shaitaan” is expected to perform well if it maintains its current trajectory leading up to Eid.
