New Delhi : Charlotte Chopin stands as a testament to the idea that age is merely a number, and there’s no predetermined time to embark on learning or pursue one’s passion. This rings true for the remarkable journey of Charlotte Chopin, a 101-year-old French yoga instructor who was bestowed with the Padma Shri award by Indian President Droupadi Murmu. The Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian award in India, and Chopin was one of four French nationals to receive this prestigious honor. Last year, Chopin had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to France for the Bastille Day Parade.

Charlotte enjoys socializing with friends and going shopping in Paris. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has even mentioned her during his “Man Ki Baat” address.
