Yogi Adityanath Secures Investment Deals in Singapore to Boost UP’s Infrastructure and Jobs

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath signs major agreements in housing, logistics and data centres to create jobs and strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on an official visit to Singapore, where he is meeting global investors, business leaders and education experts to attract investment and strengthen skill development partnerships for the state. During the visit, he signed important Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and held detailed discussions focused on infrastructure growth, data centres, logistics, housing and workforce training.

The Chief Minister shared updates about his meetings and agreements in posts shared on X, highlighting the key outcomes of his Singapore visit.

Meeting With USEL

In a post shared on X, Yogi Adityanath said he had a fruitful and forward-looking meeting with Mr. Prasoon Mukherjee, Chairman and Founder of Universal Success Enterprises Limited (USEL), along with his delegation in Singapore.

He stated that he witnessed the signing of MoUs in group housing, logistics and data centres in Uttar Pradesh. The projects include the development of an integrated township, a logistics park and a hyperscale data centre park. He said these projects will generate substantial employment opportunities and strengthen the infrastructure ecosystem of the state. He also encouraged the group to advance its hyperscale data centre operations in Uttar Pradesh and assured full support from the state government for quick implementation.

These projects are part of Uttar Pradesh’s larger plan to expand digital infrastructure and attract global investment into key sectors.

Talks With Global Investors

During his visit, the Chief Minister also met senior global investment leaders to explore long-term partnerships. He held discussions with Mr. Lim Chow Kiat, Chief Executive Officer of GIC, to explore opportunities for long-term institutional investments in Uttar Pradesh. The discussions focused on infrastructure, logistics, industrial parks and sustainable urban development projects.

He also met senior representatives from Temasek Holdings to discuss potential investments in data centres, logistics hubs, renewable energy and industrial infrastructure in the state. These meetings are aimed at bringing international capital and expertise to Uttar Pradesh and strengthening its industrial base.

In another post on X, the Chief Minister said he had a productive meeting with Mr. Sumit Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director of Golden State Capital Pte. Ltd., along with his team in Singapore. He said they discussed investment prospects in infrastructure, emerging technologies and strategic growth sectors in Uttar Pradesh, including opportunities in data centre development and other priority investment corridors where Golden State Capital has earlier expressed commitment to invest.

The Chief Minister also engaged with leading financial institutions to promote financial cooperation and support large-scale infrastructure projects.

Visit To ITE Singapore

In another post shared on X, Yogi Adityanath said he reviewed a detailed presentation by ITE on skill development and training and visited the facilities at ITE College Central in Singapore.

He stated that he witnessed the signing of MoUs aimed at strengthening collaboration in technical and vocational education, aviation skills and industry-aligned training programs. These initiatives are designed to support Uttar Pradesh’s expanding infrastructure and employment ecosystem.

He assured that Uttar Pradesh will take these MoUs forward and work towards their early implementation. He also toured the campus and Aviation Hub facilities to understand industry-integrated skill development models.

This partnership is expected to help Uttar Pradesh improve its workforce training systems by adopting global best practices from Singapore.

Discussions At ITE Headquarters

In a separate post shared on X, the Chief Minister said he visited the ITE Headquarters and ITE College Central in Singapore. He held detailed discussions with ITE Education Services (ITEES) on collaboration in technical and vocational education and TVET knowledge sharing.

He mentioned that the discussions focused particularly on aviation, logistics, advanced manufacturing and data centre operations to strengthen workforce readiness in Uttar Pradesh. He also informed the ITEES team that Uttar Pradesh is in the process of establishing Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Employment and Industrial Zones in every district. He said these zones will require strong partnerships for skill training and capacity building.

Focus On UP Growth

Through these meetings and agreements, CM Yogi Adityanath aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a strong destination for global investment. The visit highlights the state government’s focus on infrastructure expansion, digital growth, industrial development and large-scale employment generation.

By combining investment in data centres, logistics and housing with skill development partnerships, the Uttar Pradesh government is working to build a strong industrial and employment ecosystem for the future.
