The nationwide mass movement “One Fast Every Month” (observing a fast on the 7th of every month) will be launched under the guidance of Yog Rishi Swami Ramdev ji and Jain saint Acharya Prasanna Sagar ji Maharaj at this convention.
New Delhi: By a rare and auspicious coincidence, this two-day International Janmangal Convention is being held under the divine guidance of two revered masters of yoga and fasting — Swami Ramdev ji Maharaj and Acharya Prasanna Sagar ji Maharaj. The central theme of the convention is:
“The Right Vision of Public Welfare: Fasting, Meditation, Yoga, and Indigenous Thought.”
On 12–13 December, during the launch of the “One Fast Every Month” campaign, the event will be addressed by several eminent leaders including Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav, Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta, Delhi Cabinet Ministers Shri Pravesh Sahib Singh and Shri Kapil Mishra, MPs Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi and Shri Yogendra Chandolia, India TV Chairman Shri Rajat Sharma, renowned liver specialist Dr. S. K. Sarin, Indian Education Board Chairman Shri N. P. Singh, and Patanjali Research Institute Director Dr. Anurag Varshney.
A digital address will be delivered by Pujya Bageshwar Sarkar Dhirendra Shastri ji. Pujya Acharya Balkrishna ji Maharaj, Gita Manishi Mahamandaleshwar Gyananand ji Maharaj, and Mahant Balknath Yogi ji Maharaj will bless the gathering with their presence.

Meanwhile, Acharya Prasanna Sagar ji’s unparalleled discipline of 557 days of continuous fasting (and more than 3,500 fasts till date) has earned him the title of “Upvaas Sadhana Shiromani.”
Now, these two great visionaries have resolved to jointly launch the “One Fast Every Month” movement to promote public welfare and inspire society through the transformative practice of fasting.
